The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission informs Cyprus Investment Firms about the EBA and ESMA Discussion Paper regarding the European Commission's review of the Investment Firms Directive and Regulation. The regulator requests that firms submit comments on the proposed prudential framework changes by 3 September 2024 and voluntarily participate in a data collection exercise with templates due by 19 July 2024. CySEC strongly encourages participation in both the consultation and the data collection to assess the impact of potential regulatory amendments.
