This directive, grounded in Article 73 of Banking Law No. 9 (2010) and a Cabinet decision, applies to all banks operating throughout Palestine. The circular also distributes copies to the Capital Market Authority, Palestine Exchange, Palestinian Deposits Guarantee Fund, and Financial Monitoring Unit for record.

Subject: Isra and Mi'raj Holiday
Based on the provisions of Article No. (73) of Banking Law No. (9) of 2010, and pursuant to the decision of the esteemed Cabinet, it has been decided to suspend banking operations on Monday, 27 January 2025, in observance of the Isra and Mi'raj holiday.
On this blessed occasion, I pray to God that He may return it to our nation with its aspirations fulfilled through the establishment of our independent state and its holy capital, Jerusalem.
