TRAINING ON CYBER THREATS & COUNTER MEASURES FOR THE CAPITAL MARKET OPERATORS.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is the apex regulatory body for the Capital Market in Ghana. As part of its mandate of developing the Capital Market, SEC is promoting the use of technology in the Capital Market. The introduction of technology presents risk which has to be properly managed. Cyber attackers over the years have compromised systems by exploiting weaknesses in them as well as recruited insiders to gain unauthorized access to computer systems to facilitate fraud.
