Bank of Italy Provision of 3 April 2013: Clarifications on the "Intermediary Type Code" for Intermediaries Registered in the New Register under Article 106 TUB
The Bank of Italy issued clarifications regarding the assignment of intermediary type codes for the Unified IT Archive following the implementation of the TUB Title V reform. Intermediaries registered in the new Unified Register are assigned code 11, while those in the General List retain code 13 and those in the Special List retain code 11 until the end of the 12-month transitional period on 12 May 2016. A specific exception applies to smaller guarantee funds, which continue using code 13 beyond the standard deadline pending the establishment of the relevant regulatory body.
