Law No. (9) of 2011 Regulating the Use of Security Cameras and Monitoring Devices
Issued by Amir Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani in 2011, this Qatari law mandates that designated establishments install and operate security cameras around the clock with a dedicated control room, while prohibiting placement in bedrooms, physiotherapy rooms, restrooms, changing areas, and women's sections.
