Decision on Issuing Gold and Silver Jubilee Coins

Pursuant to Article 44 paragraph (2) item 3) and in conjunction with Article 5 paragraph (2) of the Central Bank of Montenegro Law (OGM 40/10, 46/10, 06/13, 70/17), the Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro, at its meeting held on 5 February 2021, passed the following D E C I S I O N ON ISSUING GOLD AND SILVER JUBILEE COINS Article 1 On the occasion of celebrating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the Central Bank of Montenegro, the Central Bank of Montenegro (hereinafter: the Central Bank) shall issue gold and silver jubilee coins in 2021. Article 2 Gold jubilee coin (hereinafter: gold coin) referred to in Article 1 herein shall be issued in denomination of 10 perpers and in the quantity of 50 pieces. Gold coin weighing 3.455 grams and 20 mm diameter shall be made of gold alloy, fineness 900/1000, in special proof technique with brilliant mirror-like flat surfaces and matte relief details. The permissible deviation from the weight of the gold coin shall be 2 ‰ (prom) above the weight specified in paragraph (2) above. Article 3 Silver jubilee coin (hereinafter: silver coin) referred to in Article 1 herein shall be issued in denomination of 1 perper and in the quantity of 200 pieces. Silver coin weighing 17 grams and 34 mm diameter shall be made of silver alloy, fineness 925/1000, in special proof technique with brilliant mirror-like flat surfaces and matte relief details. The permissible deviation from the weight of the silver coin shall be 2 ‰ (prom) above the weight specified in paragraph (2) above Article 4 The obverse of gold and silver coins shall be as follows: in the central part there shall be a visual display of the building in which the head office of the Central Bank is located, and on the upper border the text: “Central Bank of Montenegro” shall be

engraved in Latin letters, while jubilee years, 2001-2021, shall be engraved in the bottom part. The reverse of gold and silver coins shall be as follows: in the central part there shall be the coat of arms of Montenegro, on the upper border the text: “Montenegro” shall be engraved in Latin letters, and in the bottom part there shall be a sign of nominal value and monetary unit, for gold coin “10 perpers” and for silver coin “1 perper”. The rim of gold and silver coins shall be smooth. Article 5 The manner of gold and silver coins using and packaging (the structure of collection) shall be governed by special decision of the Central Bank. Article 6 This decision shall enter into force on the day following that of its publication in the Official Gazette of Montenegro.
