Regulation no. 2017-02 Amending Regulation no. 2006-01
The Director General of the Central Bank of the Republic of San Marino issued Regulation no. 2017-02, which amends Regulation no. 2006-01 and entered into force on March 1, 2017. This amendment introduces the definition of "beneficial owners" and mandates their publication in the register of authorized entities, in compliance with Article 43 of Law no. 144 of 2016. It also revises the information required for authorized entities, including economic operator codes, branch details, and shareholders with 2% or more capital participation, extending these requirements to parent companies and requiring the registration of smaller shareholdings if linked by common beneficial owners.
