The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a decision on July 31, 2014, to put 1 Convertible Mark and 50 Feninga coins into circulation. These coins, minted in 2013, possess the technical characteristics and legal tender status defined in previous regulations. All public and private entities within Bosnia and Herzegovina are legally obligated to accept these coins at their nominal value for all cash transactions and debt settlements.

Based on Articles 2. paragraph 3. point h, 7. point e, 39, and 42 of the Law on the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Gazette of BiH", 1/97, 29/02, 13/03, 14/03, 09/05, 76/06, and 32/07), Article 52 of the Rules of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Decision No. 100-UV 120/05 dated June 29, 2005, Decision No. 100-UV 66/10 dated April 29, 2010, Decision No. 100-UV 130/11 dated March 30, 2011, Decision No. 100-UV 18/12 dated January 31, 2012, Decision No. 100-UV 10/13 dated January 31, 2013, Decision No. 100-UV 73/13 dated June 28, 2013, and Decision No. 100-UV 106/13 dated October 31, 2013, in accordance with the Policy on the Production of Banknotes and Coins of the Convertible Mark, Decision No. 100-UV 107/12 dated November 1, 2012, the Board of Governors of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its 10th session held on July 31, 2014, adopts
DECISION on the Issuance of Coins of the Denomination of 1 Convertible Mark and 50 Feninga
Article 1. The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina has minted coins in the denominations of 1 Convertible Mark and 50 Feninga, in accordance with the Decision of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Decision No. 100-UV 72/13 dated June 28, 2013.
Article 2. The coins referred to in Article 1 of this Decision have all the basic features and technical characteristics as follows: a) coins of the denomination of 1 Convertible Mark, in accordance with the Decision on the Issuance, Basic Features, and Issuance into Circulation of Coins of 1 and 2 Convertible Marks ("Official Gazette of BiH", 20/00), b) coins of the denomination of 50 Feninga, in accordance with the Decision on the Issuance, Basic Features, and Issuance into Circulation of Coins of 10, 20, and 50 Feninga ("Official Gazette of BiH", 24/98 and 25/98),
Article 3. The coins from the preceding Article of this Decision were minted with the issue year "2013".
Article 4. Under the Law on the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, all public and private institutions and establishments, legal and natural persons are obliged to accept the coins from this Decision at their nominal value as legal tender when offered in cash transactions, or in settlement and payment of any obligations towards them, throughout the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Article 5. With the entry into force of this Decision, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina will, through the Central Office, main units, and branches, issue the coins from Article 1 of this Decision into circulation successively, in accordance with the plan for issuing coins into circulation.
Article 6. This Decision enters into force on the day of its publication in the "Official Gazette of BiH", and shall also be published in the "Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH", the "Official Gazette of the Republika Srpska", and the "Official Gazette of the Brčko District of BiH".
