Companies (Protected Cell Companies) (Prescribed Classes) Regulations, 2024
The Guernsey Financial Services Commission issued these Regulations to prescribe an additional class of companies eligible for protected cell status under the Companies (Guernsey) Law, 2008. The designation applies to any company licensed or seeking a license to carry on regulated activities under section 2(1)(e) of the Regulation of Fiduciaries, Administration Businesses and Company Directors, etc (Bailiwick of Guernsey) Law, 2020. This legal change allows both newly incorporated and existing companies meeting these criteria to be formed or converted into protected cell companies.
