Bank of Zambia Circular 02/2004: Authorized Signatories Booklet
The Bank of Zambia issued Circular 02/2004 to update the authorized signatories list for commercial banks executing local and foreign currency settlements. The amendment promotes Paul Muyinda from Category B to Category A and adds Evans Mukonka to Category B for signing cheques, drafts, and financial instruments. These changes take effect immediately, while all previously approved signatures in the January 2003 booklet remain valid.

Further to our Authorised Signatories booklet dated 6 January 2003, the Bank has made amendments to its list of authorised signatories by moving Mr Paul Muyinda, Acting Assistant Director, Financial Accounting from category B to category A as an authorised signatory for purposes of executing settlements by cheque, draft and other financial instruments (in local and foreign currency). The Bank also wishes to advise that Mr Evans Mukonka, Accountant - Retail Securities and Reconciliations, has been included on the list of category B authorised signatories for purposes of executing settlements by cheque, draft and other financial instruments (in local and foreign currency) until further notice. These changes are as indicated below:-
