The Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) has issued a circular requiring all banks and financial institutions operating in the Kingdom to accept conciliation documents from the Reconciliation Center that include proof of custody. These documents legally authorize custodians to conduct banking transactions on behalf of wards, with authenticity verifiable electronically through the Taradhi platform. The directive takes immediate effect based on established Ministry of Justice operational rules, ensuring standardized recognition across all banking operations.

Subject: Acceptance of conciliation documents issued by the Reconciliation Center including proof of custody.
Reference is made to the Ministry of Justice telegram No. (467842135) dated 18/1/1444H, requesting the circulation to banks and financial institutions of the acceptance of conciliation documents issued by the Reconciliation Center including proof of custody,
based on the operational rules and procedures for reconciliation offices issued by Minister of Justice Decision No. (5095) dated
29/11/1440H.
Accordingly, the Saudi Central Bank confirms that all banks and financial institutions shall accept conciliation documents issued by the Reconciliation Center
including proof of custody, in respect of banking transactions that the custodian is authorized to conclude on behalf of the ward, and
the documents can be verified electronically through the Taradhi platform portal via the following link:
