Decree No. 2013-061/PRE Amending Decree No. 2005-0212/PR Establishing the National Committee Against Terrorism

HAVING REGARD TO the Constitution of September 15, 1992; HAVING REGARD to Constitutional Law No. 92/AN/10/6ème L amending the Constitution; HAVING REGARD to Law No. 59/AN/94 of January 5, 1995 establishing the Penal Code; HAVING REGARD to Law No. 196/AN/02/4ème L on money laundering, confiscation and international cooperation regarding proceeds of crime dated December 29, 2002, particularly its Article 3; HAVING REGARD to Law No. 210/AN/07/6ème L on combating human trafficking dated December 27, 2007; HAVING REGARD to Law No. 112/AN/11/6ème L supplementing Law No. 196/AN/02/4ème L on money laundering, confiscation and international cooperation regarding proceeds of crime dated May 25, 2011;

HAVING REGARD to Law No. 111/AN/11/6ème L on combating terrorism and other serious offenses dated May 25, 2011; HAVING REGARD to Law No. 110/AN/11/6ème L on combating the financing of terrorism; HAVING REGARD to Decree No. 2001-0193 establishing a National Committee for Combating Terrorism dated October 3, 2001; HAVING REGARD to Decree No. 2005-0212/PR of December 17, 2005 amending Decree No. 2001-193/PR establishing a National Committee for Combating Terrorism; HAVING REGARD to Decree No. 2013-044/PR of May 31, 2013 appointing the Prime Minister; HAVING REGARD to Decree No. 2013-045/PR of May 31, 2013 appointing the members of the Government and defining their responsibilities.

HEREBY DECREES

Article 1:

Article 1 of the aforementioned decree is amended as follows, the Committee shall be composed of:

  • Ministry of Justice; President
  • Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, member;
  • Ministry of Equipment and Transport, member;
  • Ministry of the Interior and Decentralization, member;
  • Ministry of Economy, Finance and Planning, responsible for privatization, member;
  • Governor of the Central Bank of Djibouti, member;
  • Head of National Security, member;
  • Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, member.

Article 2:

This decree shall enter into force upon its signature and shall be registered and published in the Official Journal of the Republic of Djibouti.
