Decision on the Method and Deadlines for Submitting Reports on Total Open Foreign Exchange Positions of Banks

Pursuant to Article 7, point b, and Article 51 of the Law on the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina ("Official Gazette of BiH", 1/97), the Governing Board of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at its 9th session held on August 24, 1999, adopts

D E C I S I O N on the method and deadlines for submitting reports on total open foreign exchange positions of banks

  1. Banks are obliged to submit reports on their total open foreign exchange positions to the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (hereinafter: Central Bank) periodically, with data as of the 15th and the last day of the month, within a period of five days after the expiration of that day.

  2. The reports referred to in point 1 of this Decision are submitted through the organizational units of the Central Bank, depending on the regions covered by those organizational units.

  3. The form for the report on total open foreign exchange positions of banks constitutes an integral part of this Decision.

  4. The bank referred to in point 1 of this Decision is a legal entity that participates in the business of receiving monetary deposits and other profitable funds based on a banking license issued by the competent body responsible for licensing and supervision of banks, in accordance with Article 74, point g of the Law on the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

  5. This Decision enters into force on the day of its publication in the "Official Gazette of BiH", and it will also be published in the "Official Gazette of the Federation of BiH" and the "Official Gazette of the Republika Srpska".
