INSTRUCTION NO. 04/2022 of April 18 ASSUNTO: FINANCIAL SYSTEM

• Annual Premium of Contributions of Financial Institutions Participating in the Deposit Guarantee Fund in Angola Given the need to establish rules and procedures for the annual contribution to the Deposit Guarantee Fund in Angola, which participating Institutions must make, as stipulated in paragraph 1 of Article 8 of Presidential Decree No. 195/2018, of August 22, read in conjunction with paragraph 3 of Article 6 of Notice No. 01/2019, of January 11, regarding the Calculation Base of Contributions to the Fund; Pursuant to the combined provisions of paragraph 3 of Article 9 of Presidential Decree No. 195/2018, of August 22, regarding the Regulation of the Deposit Guarantee Fund, and paragraph 1 of Article 98 of Law No. 24/21, of October 18, the Law of the Banco Nacional de Angola. I HEREBY DETERMINE:

1. Subject Matter This Instruction establishes the annual premium for the year 2022, which Banking Financial Institutions must pay to the Deposit Guarantee Fund.
2. Scope This Instruction applies to Banking Financial Institutions, hereinafter referred to as "Participating Institutions", as defined in Notice No. 01/2019, of January 11, regarding the Calculation Base of Contributions to the Fund.

Annual Premium 3.1 The annual contribution premium shall be paid in a single annual installment. 3.2 For the purposes of the preceding paragraph, the annual premium for the year 2022 is fixed at 0.07% (zero point zero seven percent). 4. Revocation All regulations that conflict with the provisions of this Instruction are hereby revoked, specifically Instruction No. 11/2020, of May 29, and Instruction No. 06/2021, of April 15, regarding the Annual Premium of Contributions of Financial Institutions Participating in the Deposit Guarantee Fund in Angola. 5. Sanctions Failure to comply with the provisions of this Instruction constitutes an offense punishable under the Law on the General Regime of Financial Institutions. 6. Interpretation and Omissions Any doubts and omissions arising from the interpretation and application of this Instruction shall be resolved by the Banco Nacional de Angola. 7.
