The Minister of Finance, Trade, Investment and Economic Planning enacted the International Trade Zone (Amendment of Schedule) Regulations, 2019 to repeal paragraphs 2, 4, 5, and 8 from the schedule of the International Trade Zone Act. Existing license holders retain their current concessions until December 31, 2022, unaffected by the schedule amendments. The regulations were executed on December 27, 2019, and apply immediately to all licensed entities operating under the Act.

International Trade Zone (Amendment of Schedule) Regulations, 2019
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the International Trade Zone Act, the Minister of Finance, Trade, Investment and Economic Planning makes the following Regulations —
1. These Regulations may be cited as the International Trade Zone (Amendment of Schedule) Regulations, 2019. Citation
2. The Schedule to the International Trade Zone Act is hereby amended by repealing paragraphs 2, 4, 5 and 8. Amendment of Schedule of Cap 227
3. A person who is the holder of a licence under the Act prior to the date of coming into effect of these Regulations shall, notwithstanding regulation 2, continue to enjoy any concession allowed to the holder of the licence until 31st December, 2022 under the Schedule as if the Schedule has not been amended.
