CIMA Cancels Registration of 12 Peers Capital Markets, Ltd as Securities-Registered Person
The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority has cancelled the securities registration of 12 Peers Capital Markets, Ltd effective 9 August 2023. The cancellation stems from the company's failure to file required annual declarations, pay prescribed fees and penalties for 2022 and 2023, and maintain a minimum of two compliant directors. Citing sections 17(2)(c) and (e) of the Securities Investment Business Act, the Authority determined that these contraventions demonstrate the company has not managed its business in a fit and proper manner.
