Circular No. 109/2025: Prophet's Birthday Anniversary
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 109/2025 to designate Thursday, September 4, 2025, as an official public holiday in observance of the Prophet's Birthday Anniversary. This directive is issued pursuant to Article 73 of Banking Law No. 9 of 2010 and a decision by the Council of Ministers. The circular also conveys greetings to banking sector employees and expresses hope for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.

Subject: Prophet's Birthday Anniversary
Based on the provisions of Article No. (73) of Banking Law No. (9) of 2010, and in accordance with the decision of the esteemed Council of Ministers, it has been decided to declare Thursday, corresponding to 2025/09/04, as an official public holiday in celebration of the Prophet's Birthday Anniversary.
On this blessed occasion, I extend my congratulations to all employees of the banking apparatus in Palestine, and we ask God to return this occasion to our Palestinian people with the realization of their aspirations for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with its capital in the holy city of Jerusalem.
