  1. The National Bank of Serbia shall issue banknotes in denomination of 100 dinars.
  2. The banknote of 100 dinars shall be printed on a tinted and patented paper with a multitint watermark appearing in the image of Nikola Tesla portrait. On the banknote face there is a protective stepped filament built in, containing a microtext ìДИНАР DINARî in negative, with a sign ì~î. The microtext is continuingly repeated and legible on both the face and back of the banknote (the protective filament and microtext are clearly visible on the face, and on the back under a light making the banknote transparent). Also there are visible protective yellow, blue and red fibres built in the paper, of which those yellow and red fluoresce in yellow and red under a lamp generating ultraviolet rays. The banknote shall be printed in a combined technique ñ face in the intaglio and multicolour offset printing, and back in the multicolour offset printing and numeration fitting relief printing technique. Placed on the upper part of the back of the banknote between the National Bank of Serbia sign and value designation ì100î, the numeration includes two letter marks and seven numerical. It is printed in fluorescent black that under ultraviolet rays fluoresces in yellow-green.
  3. The banknote of 100 dinars shall have dimensions 68 by 143 mm. The face of the banknote
  4. The lay-out is horizontal. On the left-hand side there is a portrait of Nikola Tesla produced in the intaglio printing technique. In the bottom left-hand corner, in positive, in both the Cyrillic and Latin alphabets there are words ìNikola Teslaî printed, and below them there are years of his birth and death, ì1856 ñ 1943î. In the upper part of the banknote, to the right of the portrait, there is a formula written, 2 m Wb T = , expressing the unit of magnetic induction named ìteslaî. Above it, there is an electric discharge (lightning) displayed, while in the lower part of the composition,

there is a stylized display (just showing in the background) of a part of one of Teslaís plants. The value designation ì100î given in negative, is placed in the top right-hand corner of the fully printed part, while that given in positive ñ in the lower part of the white area. The text ìThe National Bank of Serbiaî written in Latin alphabet in two rows, is placed in the white area, in the right-hand part, and the same text written in Cyrillic alphabet in two rows ñ near the left-hand margin of the banknote, namely, the words ìThe National Bank ofî in positive, and the word ìSerbiaî in negative. Above the word ìSerbiaî being written in Cyrillic alphabet in negative, there is the sign for the blind produced in the intaglio printing technique (a small black circle within a larger white circle being inscribed within a black square). To the left of that word, in the same technique, in both the Cyrillic and Latin alphabets, there is a microtext ìNBSî produced in six rows. In the upper part of the banknote white area, there is the so-called statue effect produced, displaying the ìNBSî text in an ellipse form and using the intaglio printing technique. The text is only discernible in observing the banknote at certain angles (the observation direction must be as close as possible to the banknote plane, sloping by 45 degrees in the both directions of rotation), providing its image in both the negative and positive. Alongside the upper and lower parts of this element there is a repeating ìNBSî microtext ñ stated in Cyrillic alphabet above, and in Latin alphabet below. In the lower right-hand part of the white area, and above the nominal value ì100î there is another statue effect placed, being of a rectangular form and containing the same elements as the preceding one, and getting visible in the same manner. In the upper part of the banknote, to the right of the value designation ì100î, there is a transparent register produced representing one half of the full picture, the whole of which can only be viewed if this one put together with the corresponding part of the picture from the back of the banknote (four parts of the windings visible on the face together with four parts of the windings visible on the back are forming a stylized induction coil). To the left of the figure ì100î in positive, in the fully printed part is written the text ìone hundred dinarsî ñ produced in Cyrillic alphabet in negative, and in Latin alphabet in positive. Along the right-hand edge of the banknote, on a light blue surface is written, firstly in Cyrillic alphabet, and then in Latin alphabet, the text ìcounterfeiting is punishable by lawî, and in an extension the designation of the value ì100î is discreetly indicated. The back of the banknote 5. The lay-out is vertical. The primary motive is the figure of Nikola Tesla holding a light bulb in his hand (the motive has been taken from the original photograph at the Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade).

In the central part a linear display is given of the electric motor by Tesla with the Teslaís dove above it, and to the left of the latter is shown Teslaís electric motor stylized. The value designation ì100î is given in positive and placed in the top right-hand corner on the light blue surface, and that given in negative ñ in the bottom left-hand corner of the fully printed part. In the top right-hand corner of the fully printed part there is the text written ìone hundred dinarsî, namely, in positive and in Cyrillic alphabet, and below that, the same text in negative and in Latin alphabet. In the lower right-hand part of the white area there are words ìBelgradeî, ìyearî and ìgovernorî written in Cyrillic and Latin alphabets, in three rows from the top downwards, with the designation of the year ì2004î being in negative. Below those words there is a facsimile of the signature of Mr. Radovan Jelaöić, the governor. Along the lower edge of the fully printed part in the white area is written the text ìThe National Bank of Serbia ñ Institution for the note printing and minting ñ Topčiderî (firstly in Cyrillic, and then in Latin alphabet). In the bottom right-hand corner of the printed part there is the microtext ì100 dinarsî written in positive, alternately in Cyrillic and Latin alphabets and in six rows. Above the microtext there is the value designation ì100î. In the top left-hand corner of the banknote, on the light blue surface, there is the sign of the National Bank of Serbia displayed, and this surface below the sign contains a multiplied figure ì100î in a shaded-in negative, while in the lower part the figure ì100î is in microtext. In the upper right-hand part of the banknote, on the line between the white area and fully printed part there is the other part of the transparent register as stated in item 4, paragraph 8 of this decision. 6. On the face and back of the banknote predominate the shades of blue with supplementary ocher and green shades. The ocher on the face and back of the banknote if lighted by a lamp generating ultraviolet rays fluoresces in yellow. If the banknote gets lighted with the rays of the infrared spectrum, on the display of an IR lamp will show on the banknote face the portrait, both statue effects, text ìThe National Bank of Serbiaî (in Cyrillic alphabet to the left of the portrait, and in Latin alphabet to the right thereof), as well as the micrtotext ìNBSî (written alternately in Cyrillic and Latin alphabets), and on the back of the banknote ñ the sign of the National Bank of Serbia, governorís signature, Cyrillic text ìone hundred dinarsî (being underneath the transparent register), display of the electric motor and mictrotext ì100 dinarsî (alternately written in Cyrillic, and Latin alphabets). 7.
