The Central Bank of Sri Lanka issued Circular RTGS/13/2010 to amend the Daily Operating Schedule of the LankaSettle System Rules effective September 27, 2010. This update aligns the schedule with the phased go-live of LankaClear's new SLIPS application, introducing a second clearing session at 3:00 p.m. and enabling T+0 settlements. The circular also imposes a Rs. 1 million maximum value per transaction and instructs participants to maintain sufficient funds in settlement accounts to accommodate the new batch processing times.
