Bangladesh Bank’s Foreign Exchange Operation Department-1 has discontinued the weekly reporting requirement for authorized dealers regarding 26 essential commodities. Authorized dealers must now submit a monthly statement of letter of credit and contract openings and settlements through the Online Import Monitoring System.
