The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic issued Communication “A” 8339 to implement adjustments to its Quarterly/Annual Supervision Information Regime (R.I.). The amendment clarifies reporting requirements for judicial deposit balances (items 999728 to 999735) and mandates consistency with previously reported balances in the R.I. Balance Sheet for the relevant months. Additionally, it updates reporting codes for time-bound operations, loans, and headquarters/branch staffing to explicitly include senior management and specify currency and entity classifications.

We address you to communicate the adjustments related to the referenced Information Regime. In this regard, a clarification is incorporated in Section 7 – “Information on Complementary Data” regarding the requested data corresponding to judicial deposit balances (items 999728 to 999735), and the consistency that must be observed regarding the balances previously reported for this type of deposits in the R.I. Codes 999705, 999706, 889901 and 889902 - Quantity of time-bound operations. The quantity of fixed-term operations in pesos and foreign currency, for individuals and companies, will be reported. Codes 999707, 999708 and 999712 to 999715 - Quantity of loan operations. The quantity of operations included under the Loans heading, corresponding to the non-financial public sector, non-financial private sector, and residents abroad, in pesos, in foreign currency, for individuals and companies, will be recorded. Code 999710 - Staffing at headquarters. Senior management will also be included. Code 999711 - Staffing at domestic branches. Senior management will also be included. Codes 999728 to 999735 – Information on judicial deposits. Balances -in thousands of pesos- as of the last day of each of the three monthly periods forming part of the reported quarter will be detailed, which must maintain consistency at the total level (and for each currency type: pesos/foreign currency) with the balances previously reported in items 311113, 311153, 311413, 311453, 311725, 311753, 315113, 315153, 315413, 315453, 315725 and 315753 of the R.I.
