Regarding the Extension of the Deadline for the Founding Committee of the Egyptian Securities Union

Board of Directors of the Financial Regulatory Authority

Having reviewed the Capital Market Law issued by Law No. (95) of 1992 and its executive regulations;
and the Law No. (10) of 2009 regulating supervision over non-banking financial markets and instruments;
and the Presidential Decision No. (192) of 2009 issuing the Basic Law of the Financial Regulatory Authority;
and the Board Decision No. (20) of 2019 regarding the Basic Law of the Egyptian Securities Union,
amended by Board Decision No. (122) of 2019 and Board Decisions Nos. (43) and (147) of 2020,
and Board Decision No. (29) of 2021;
and having the approval of the Board of Directors dated 31/8/2022.

Has Decided

(Article One)

The deadline granted to the Founding Committee referred to in Article (44) of the Basic Law of the Egyptian Securities Union, to convene the first General Assembly of the Union, is extended for a period of six months, effective from 18/9/2022.

(Article Two)

This Decision shall be published in the Egyptian Gazette and on the Authority's official website.
