The Nigerian Federal Government has approved adding Grimaldi Concession Terminal to Lot III of the Destination Inspection Scheme, effective January 2nd, 2007. Global Scan Systems Limited will set up operations at this terminal under the approval and supervision of the Trade & Exchange Department. This development has extended the zone covered by Messrs Global Scan Systems Limited to include Warri and Calabar Seaports, Ikeja Airport, Grimaldi Concession Terminal, and Seme Border Post.

Consequently, Messrs Global Scan Systems Limited has been granted approval to put up all the necessary infrastructures and commence its operations from the terminal with effect from . January 2. 2007. With this development, the zone covered by Messrs Global Scan Systems Limited as stated in the circular Ref. No.TED/AD/150/2005 of December 28, 2005 is hereby reviewed to include Warri and Calabar Seaports, Ikeja Airport, Grimaldi Concession Terminal and Seme Border Post.
For the avoidance of doubt, the zones allocated to the other Service Providers in the circular under reference remained unchanged.
