Whereas issuance and circulation of Rupiah is addressed to provide cash in society as a legal tender in Republic of Indonesia; b. Whereas to optimalize the function of element on currency in the 50.000 (fifty thousand) Rupiah denomination as legal tender in Indonesia, it is deemed necessary to enhance the security features in Rupiah design; c. Now therefore, based on consideration referred to in letter a and letter b, it is necessary to make the second amend of Bank Indonesia Regulation Number 7/42/PBI/2005 Concerning Issuance and Circulation of the Year 2005 Issue of Banknotes in the 50.000 (Fifty Thousand) Rupiah Denomination; In view of : 1. Article I Several provisions in Bank Indonesia Regulation Number 7/42/PBI/2005 concerning Issuance and Circulation of the Year 2005 Issue of Banknotes in the 50.000 (Fifty Thousand) Rupiah denomination (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 102 of 2005) as amended by Bank Indonesia Regulation Number 11/8/PBI/2009 (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia Number 45 of 2009) amended as follows:

1. The provisions of Article 4 shall be amended as follows: Article 4

Color The dominant color printed on the obverse side and the reverse sides of the banknote is blue. b. Images

1. to the left of the main image, filling the space is the number “50000” representing face value with the inscription “BI”;
2. to the left of the main image, the inscription of “BI” forming the background to the Balinese ornaments;
