The Banking Supervision Directorate of the National Bank of Angola suspends, until further notice, the sale of travelers checks to individuals traveling to Brazaville, Kinshasa, Ponta Negra, and Windhoek. This directive applies to foreign exchange offices and other financial institutions under its jurisdiction. It takes immediate effect upon publication, overriding previous allowances for these specific destinations.

SUBJECT: FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS Foreign Exchange Offices Sale of Travelers Checks to Travelers By order of the Governor of the National Bank of Angola, the sale of travelers checks to travelers bound for: -BRAZAVILLE -KINSHASA -PONTA NEGRA -WINDHOEK is suspended until further notice.
This Directive takes effect immediately upon publication.
