Notice of Amendments to Legislation (20 June 2012)
The Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA) Board enacted the Markets Law 2012 and amended the Regulatory Law 2004, effective 5 July 2012. The Board simultaneously replaced eleven existing DFSA Rulebook modules, including Fees, Takeover Rules, and Islamic Finance Rules, with updated instruments. These changes incorporate consultation feedback and supersede earlier rule-making instruments to fully align the regulatory framework with the new Markets Law.
