PMA Circular No. 6/2025: Eid al-Fitr Holiday
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 6/2025 mandating a closure for all specialized lending institutions in Palestine for the Eid al-Fitr holiday. The institutions are required to remain closed from the morning of Sunday, March 30, 2025, through the evening of Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Normal operations are scheduled to resume on the morning of Thursday, April 3, 2025.

To all specialized lending institutions operating in Palestine

Subject: Eid al-Fitr Holiday
Based on the provisions of Article No. (22) of Decision No. (132) of 2011 concerning the licensing and supervision system for specialized lending institutions and its amendments, and based on the approved decision of the Council of Ministers, it has been decided to suspend the operations of lending institutions working in Palestine on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, starting from the morning of Sunday, March 30, 2025, until the evening of Wednesday, April 2, 2025, with lending institutions returning to their official working hours normally starting from the morning of Thursday, April 3, 2025.
On this blessed occasion, I extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to all employees in lending institutions, and we ask God to return it to our Palestinian people with the realization of their aspirations for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with its capital in Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
