Circular to Banks No. 2020-18 of September 18, 2020
The Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia issued Circular No. 2020-18 to revise the rates and deadlines for cereal crop loans under Annex I of Circular No. 87-47. The updated intervention rates establish a ceiling that banks must adjust based on farm size, projected expenses, and recent yield performance. The revised schedule sets uniform August 31 deadlines for cereals and legumes, while extending the deadline to September 30 for summer forage crops.
