The Executive Board of the National Bank of Serbia mandates banks to approve loan rescheduling for eligible agricultural debtors to manage credit risk during periods of aggravated agricultural production. Banks are required to offer grace periods of six to twelve months, ensure that rescheduled loans are not classified as non-performing, and notify affected debtors of their rights by October 31, 2022. Additionally, financial institutions must align their internal acts with these provisions, submit detailed monthly reports on approved reschedulings, and refrain from charging fees for processing these applications.
