Circular No. 2/2025 - Payment Services Holiday for Isra and Mi'raj
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 2/2025 to mandate the closure of all payment service companies operating in Palestine on Monday, January 27, 2025. This directive is issued in accordance with Payment National Law No. 41 of 2022 and a Cabinet decision to observe the Isra and Mi'raj anniversary. The closure applies specifically to the operational days of payment service providers to commemorate the occasion.

Subject: Holiday for the Anniversary of Isra and Mi'raj
Based on the provisions of Law No. (41) of 2022 concerning National Payments, and in reference to the decision of the esteemed Cabinet, it has been decided to suspend the operations of payment service companies on Monday, January 27, 2025, on the occasion of the anniversary of Isra and Mi'raj.
On this occasion, I ask God to return it to our nation with the fulfillment of its wishes by establishing our independent state with its holy capital, Jerusalem.
