Circular CSSF 25/901 on Specialised Investment Funds, SICARs and Part II UCIs
The CSSF issued Circular 25/901 to update regulatory frameworks for specialised investment funds, investment companies in risk capital, and undertakings for collective investment under Part II of the Law of 17 December 2010. This circular amends Circular CSSF 08/356 regarding techniques and instruments and repeals several prior circulars including CSSF 07/309, 06/241, and 02/80. It also introduces a compilation of key concepts and terms to clarify the CSSF's understanding of investment funds other than UCITS and MMFs.
