Directive D6/2023 on Consolidated Credit-Related Reporting for South African Domestic Systemically Important Banks
The Prudential Authority directs South African domestic systemically important banks to submit credit-related statutory BA 200 and BA 210 returns biannually on a consolidated basis at both bank and controlling company levels. These electronic submissions must be filed within thirty business days of each reporting period and accompanied by audit reports based on agreed procedures or limited assurance frameworks. Replacing Directive 1/2021, the directive mandates compliance for all reporting periods ending on or after 31 December 2023, with specific line items designated as optional.
