Circular No. 9/2025: Eid al-Adha Holiday for Payment Service Companies
The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 9/2025 mandating that payment service companies operating in Palestine observe a holiday for Eid al-Adha from the morning of June 5, 2025, through the evening of June 9, 2025. The directive requires these companies to resume normal official operations starting from the morning of June 10, 2025. This measure is implemented in accordance with the Proclamation Law No. 41 of 2022 concerning National Payments and the approved decision of the Council of Ministers.

To all payment service companies operating in Palestine

Subject: Eid al-Adha Holiday
Based on the provisions of Proclamation Law No. (41) of 2022 concerning National Payments, and based on the approved decision of the Council of Ministers, the Eid al-Adha holiday for payment service companies operating in Palestine shall begin from the morning of Thursday, June 05, 2025, and continue until the evening of Monday, June 09, 2025, with payment service companies resuming their official duties to normalcy starting from the morning of Tuesday, June 10, 2025.
On this blessed occasion, I extend my sincere congratulations and best wishes to all employees of payment service companies, and we ask God to return it to our Palestinian people with their wishes fulfilled in establishing the independent Palestinian state with its capital, Al-Quds Al-Sharif.
