Instruction (Historical) No. 5/2020

Bank of Portugal issued Instruction No. 5/2020 to regulate the reporting of information regarding payment systems, instruments, operations, payment services, and fund transfers. The instruction applies to a wide range of financial entities including credit institutions, electronic money institutions, payment institutions, and various specialized financial companies. It entered into force on February 18, 2020, under the enabling legislation of Law No. 5/98.
