The Central Bank of Sri Lanka issued operating instructions to implement the renaming of the deposit insurance scheme and fund, effective November 2013. Member institutions must now pay premiums to the newly titled Sri Lanka Deposit Insurance and Liquidity Support Fund using account number 54523 via RTGS or cheque. The circular further mandates updated correspondence naming conventions and directs electronic communications to the revised email address sldilss@cbsl.lk.
