Approval of the Unified Number Starting with 7 for Non-Governmental Establishments

The Central Bank directs financial institutions to adopt the ten-digit unified number starting with 7, issued by the Ministry of Commerce and National Information Center, as the mandatory digital identity for non-governmental establishments. Institutions must verify existing commercial records, update current accounts and contracts with the new number, and exclusively use it for all newly registered entities. This phased transition, which commenced in October 2020, automatically replaces traditional commercial registration numbers and activity licenses to standardize institutional identification across all financial operations.
