Working Hours of the Saudi Rapid Money Transfer System during the Holy Month of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha Holidays for the Year 1446 H
The Saudi Central Bank issues this circular to establish the operating hours for the Saudi Rapid Money Transfer System during Ramadan and the Eid holidays of 1446 H. The system will operate from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Ramadan business days, with Eid Al-Fitr holidays running from May 3 to June 5, 2025 (three business days) and Eid Al-Adha holidays from July 5 to July 8, 2025 (two business days). Clearing houses are required to align their operations with these adjusted system hours and holiday schedules.

Subject: Working Hours of the Saudi Rapid Money Transfer System During the Holy Month of Ramadan and Holidays of Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha for the Year 1446 H
Referring to the Saudi Central Bank's authority to issue instructions related to financial institutions for their supervision and operations, based on the provisions of its system issued by Royal Decree No. (36/M) dated 11/4/1426 H, and Article (Sixteen) of the Banks Control System issued by Royal Decree No. (5/M) dated 26/7/1386 H, the Saudi Central Bank wishes to confirm the following instruction:

The working hours of the Saudi Rapid Money Transfer System during business days of the holy month of Ramadan shall be from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The holiday for Eid Al-Fitr for the Saudi Rapid Money Transfer System begins on Sunday, 1/04/1446 H (corresponding to 3/5/2025 M), and ends at the close of Tuesday, 3/10/1446 H (corresponding to 5/6/2025 M) (amounting to 3 business days according to the Umm al-Qura calendar), with the note that clearing houses will operate in accordance with the system's hours and days.

The holiday for Eid Al-Adha for the Saudi Rapid Money Transfer System begins on Thursday, 9/12/1446 H (corresponding to 5/7/2025 M), and ends at the close of Sunday, 12/12/1446 H (corresponding to 8/7/2025 M) (amounting to 2 business days according to the Umm al-Qura calendar), with the note that clearing houses will operate in accordance with the system's hours and days.
