The Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro issued this decision to regulate the use and sale of commemorative coin collections celebrating the centenary of the first Montenegrin state coins. It designates specific coin collections as official diplomatic gifts for high-ranking state officials and establishes fixed fees for their use in such representations. Additionally, the decision authorizes the direct sale of other collections to domestic and foreign persons through the Central Bank and authorized legal entities, with prices detailed in an accompanying pricelist.
Pursuant to Article 17 paragraph 1 point 2 of the Central Bank of Montenegro Law (OGRM 52/00, 53/00, 47/01), the Central Bank of Montenegro Council, at its meeting held on 29 May 2006, passed the following Decision on the manner of using the collections of commemorative Montenegrin coins issued on the occasion of celebrating the centenary of minting the first Montenegrin state coins Article 1 The commemorative coins issued on the occasion of celebrating the centenary of minting of the first Montenegrin state coins, established into collections in accordance with the Decision on Establishing the Collections of Montenegrin Commemorative Coins (OGRM 31/06), shall be used pursuant to the provisions herein. Article 2 The commemorative coins established as “Entire Montenegrin Coins Collection” and “Three Gold Coins and Three Silver Coins Collection” may be used for the representation by the following persons: President of the Republic of Montenegro, President of the Parliament of the Republic of Montenegro, President of the Government of the Republic of Montenegro, and the President of the Council of the Central Bank of Montenegro as presents handed over to the highest representatives of foreign states, governments, central banks, international financial organisations and other international organisations. Article 3 The fee for the use of the collections of Montenegrin coins referred to in Article 2 herein shall be as follows:
Article 6 Legal entities authorised by the Central Bank may sell the collections referred to in Article 4 herein that do not contain gold coins. Article 7 This decision shall enter into force on the eighth day following that of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Montenegro.
