CL-2026-025: Lost Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Registration Documents
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas issued a circular letter to all authorized agent banks and subsidiary foreign exchange corporations regarding lost registration documents for foreign investments in Cargill Philippines, Inc. The notice specifies that documents for Agribrands International, Inc. and Cargill, Inc. have been reported lost and applied for replacement. Banks are instructed not to honor these documents if found and presented for foreign exchange transactions, pursuant to Section 38 of the Manual of Regulations on Foreign Exchange Transactions.
