Bank Indonesia Regulation Number 12/26/PBI/2010 Concerning Third Amendment of Bank Indonesia Regulation Number 7/40/PBI/2005 Concerning Issuance And Circulation Of The Year 2005 Issue Of Banknotes In The 10,000 Rupiah Denomination
Bank Indonesia issued Regulation Number 12/26/PBI/2010 to amend the specifications for the 2005 issue of 10,000 Rupiah banknotes. The regulation defines distinct design and security features for notes printed between January and November 2010 versus those printed from December 2010 onwards, primarily updating the signature requirements on the obverse side. It further mandates that previously issued banknotes remain legal tender and declares the regulation effective upon enactment.
