Bank of Zambia Circular 03/2006: Suspension of ZAMPIP Fund Disbursements
The Bank of Zambia has immediately suspended the disbursement of funds under the Zambia Agricultural Marketing and Processing Infrastructure Project (ZAMPIP) facility. Participating commercial banks are required to continue servicing their outstanding ZAMPIP loan obligations in accordance with the original facility terms. This directive applies to all commercial banks and directs clarification requests to the Director of Banking, Currency and Payment Systems.

**SUSPENSION OF USE OF THE ZAMBIA AGRICULTURAL MARKETING AND PROCESSING INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT (ZAMPIP) FUNDS**
The Bank of Zambia would like to inform commercial banks that with immediate effect disbursement of funds under the ZAMPIP facility will no longer be effected.
All participating commercial banks are kindly advised to continue servicing their ZAMPIP outstanding loan obligations in accordance with the facility terms.
Please do not hesitate to contact the Director – Banking, Currency and Payment Systems if you wish to have further clarification.
