The Financial Services Commission issued these regulations under the Insurance Act to amend the Insurance (Actuaries) (Life Insurance Companies) Regulations 2001. The amendment specifically repeals regulations 16, 17, 18, and 19 of the principal Regulations. This legislative change was approved by the Minister of Finance and the Public Service on December 22, 2022.

The Insurance (Actuaries) (Life Insurance Companies) (Amendment) Regulations, 2022
In exercise of the power conferred on the Financial Services Commission by section 144 of the Insurance Act, and of every other power hereunto enabling, the following Regulations are hereby made, with the approval of the Minister:-
These Regulations may be cited as the Insurance (Actuaries) (Life Insurance Companies) (Amendment) Regulations, 2022, and shall be read and construed as one with the Insurance (Actuaries) (Life Insurance Companies) Regulations, 2001 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Regulations) and all amendments thereto.
The principal Regulations are amended by repealing –
(a) regulation 16;
(b) regulation 17;
(c) regulation 18; and
(d) regulation 19.
