Instructions No. 12 of 2024 Amending the Financial Cycle Continuity Instructions for the National Economy

Amending the Financial Cycle Continuity Instructions for the National Economy, Articles (40, 41, 72), and amending Article (9) of the Instructions for the Supervision of Banks and Financial Institutions No. 9 of 2010, and amending Article (12) of the Instructions for the Supervision of Payment Institutions No. 12 of 2023, and amending Article (12) of the Instructions for the Supervision of Money Transfer Services No. 12 of 2024.

Preamble

Based on the provisions of the Law;

Based on the decision of the Board of Directors of the Palestine Monetary Authority;

Article (1)

The following definitions shall be added to the Financial Cycle Continuity Instructions for the National Economy:

  1. "The Authority": The Palestine Monetary Authority.
  2. "The Instructions": The Financial Cycle Continuity Instructions for the National Economy.

Article (2)

The following shall be added to the Instructions:

  1. The term "Financial Cycle" shall mean the period required for the implementation of the financial cycle plan.
  2. The deadline for submitting the financial cycle plan shall be December 31, 2024.
