CMA Releases Third Edition of State of Corporate Governance Report
The Capital Markets Authority of Kenya published its third State of Corporate Governance Report, confirming that issuers' compliance with the 2015 Code improved to a 72 percent score for the 2019/2020 financial year. The assessment mandates a continued focus on trust, sustainability, and pandemic resilience across all seven governance principles, with Commitment to Good Governance ranking highest.
