Decision on the Issue of 50-Dinar Banknote and its Main Features
The National Bank of Serbia issued a decision on 19 February 2014 to introduce a new 50-dinar banknote featuring the portrait of composer Stevan Stojanović Mokranjac. The regulation specifies the banknote's physical characteristics, including dimensions of 66x139 mm, violet and ochre color scheme, and advanced security features such as a windowed security thread, intaglio printing, and see-through registers. This legal act officially mandates the production and circulation of the new currency, which entered into force the day following its publication in the RS Official Gazette.
