The Palestine Monetary Authority issued Circular No. 2019/175 to launch a new "PMA Reports" service on the Credit Information Office website, allowing banks to extract statistical data on credit inquiries, returned cheques, and operational fees and revenues. Banks must instruct designated system administrators to assign the "View PMA Reports" permission to selected personnel, in accordance with prior user rights management directives. This measure enhances regulatory oversight and operational transparency within the Palestinian banking sector's credit information framework.
Continuing the Palestine Monetary Authority's efforts to develop operational mechanisms to serve the banking sector in managing its affairs, and referring to PMA Circular No. 2019/173 dated July 9, 2019, concerning amendments to the fourth version of the Credit Information System, the "PMA Reports" service has been added to the Credit Information Office website. This service enables banks to extract a set of statistical reports derived from the Credit Information System database. These reports are divided into three groups as follows:
Credit Information Reports, which include the following reports:
Returned Cheque Reports, which include the following reports:
Fees and Operational Revenue Reports, which include the following reports:
Accordingly, bank management is requested to disseminate this circular to the users nominated by the bank to manage the user rights system, pursuant to PMA Circulars No. (2016/55) dated April 5, 2016, and No. (2016/103) dated June 14, 2016. Specifically, the "View PMA Reports" permission must be added to users selected by the bank management as deemed appropriate. Permissions can be assigned at the level of one or more groups.
