Regulations amending supervisory reporting for institutions for occupational pension retirement provision

Finansinspektionen issued regulations amending its supervisory reporting guidelines for institutions for occupational pension retirement provision. The amendment inserts a new section excluding ICT-related incident reporting from Chapter 3 provisions to align with the EU Digital Operational Resilience Act. These regulations enter into force on 17 January 2025.

Only the printed version of the regulation in Swedish applies for the application of the law. 1 Regulations amending Finansinspektionen’s regulations and general guidelines (FFFS 2019:22) regarding supervisory reporting for institutions for occupational pension retirement provision; decided on 18 December 2024. Finansinspektionen prescribes pursuant to Chapter 5, section 2, point 28 of the Occupational Pension Undertakings Ordinance (2019:809) that a new section, Chapter 1, section 3, shall be inserted into Finansinspektionen’s regulations and general guidelines (FFFS 2019:22) regarding supervisory reporting for institutions for occupational pension retirement provision with the following wording. Chapter 1 Section 3 The provisions set out in Chapter 3 do not apply to the reporting of ICT￾related incidents pursuant to Article 19 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2554 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 December 2022 on digital operational resilience for the financial sector and amending Regulations (EC) No 1060/2009, (EU) No 648/2012, (EU) No 600/2014, (EU) No 909/2014 and (EU) 2016/1011.
