### Basel 3 Consultation – Leverage Chapter
Further to the changes introduced on Module CA this year, the CBB is issuing a second consultation on the Leverage Ratio and Gearing Requirements Chapter (CA-15).
All banks to whom this circular is sent are requested to complete the attached Form using the proposed requirements of the attached consultation paper. The CBB’s intention is to measure the impact and to test the Form. To aid completion, the Form cross-refers to specific paragraphs in the proposed Chapter CA-15.
The proposed Leverage Chapter and the Form shall be available on the CBB website (www.cbb.gov.bh) under the ‘open consultations’ section.
The CBB requests all subject banks and audit firms to provide their comments on the proposed consultation and Form, including ‘Nil comments’ by 16<sup>th</sup>, April 2015. Please submit your comments electronically to Mrs. Ebtisam Al Arrayed, Head of Regulatory Policy at consultation@cbb.gov.bh.
