Subject: Credit Risk Management Reports

Continuing the Palestine Monetary Authority’s approach of developing operational mechanisms to serve lending institutions in their business operations, and based on its commitment to providing accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date information to users from banks and lending institutions—which will help expand the base of banking lending, reflecting the role of lending entities in contributing to economic development—and referring to PMA Circular No. 2019/176 dated 09/07/2019 concerning the provision of the "PMA Reports" service, which enables lending institutions to extract a set of statistical reports based on the Internet Information Systems database, the Palestine Monetary Authority seeks to expand the PMA Reports service on the Credit Information Bureau website by adding new analytical reports related to credit risk management. These reports will assist lending institution management in updating and modifying their credit policies, as well as regulating credit in making credit decisions based on sound foundations and up-to-date information.

Accordingly, we look forward to receiving your proposals and opinions regarding the type and components of these reports at the individual lending institution level, so that we can prepare and provide them to you automatically on the Credit Information Bureau website, making them accessible to authorized personnel for use as they see fit. Please submit your proposals within seven working days from the date of this circular.
