The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic issued Communication “A” 8257 to implement Circular CAMEX 1-1047, effective June 13, 2025. The resolution nullifies subsection iii) of point 3. in Communication A 8230 and formally incorporates non-resident repatriation operations into point 3.16.3.5. of the consolidated Foreign Exchange and Currency regulations. Financial entities and exchange houses will receive updated forms to align their reporting with these regulatory adjustments.

COMUNICACIÓN “A” 8257 12/06/2025 TO FINANCIAL ENTITIES, TO EXCHANGE HOUSES: Ref.: Circular CAMEX 1-1047: Foreign Exchange and Currency. Adjustments.
We address you to inform you that this Institution has adopted the following resolution, effective as of 13/06/25:
- To nullify the provisions set forth in subsection iii) of point 3. of Communication A 8230.
- To incorporate into point 3.16.3.5. of the consolidated text on Foreign Exchange and Currency, repatriation operations by non-residents conducted under the provisions of point 3. of Communication A 8230 and its complementary regulations. Furthermore, we inform you that we will subsequently deliver the forms to replace those previously provided, which must be incorporated into the referenced regulations.
